Decking

J. Gibson McIlvain Company now offers the most durable tropical hardwoods for decking available on the market. Ipe (Tabebui SPP) and Massaranduba are extremely dense lumbers that are rated exceptionally resistant to decay, fungi, and termites by the USDA Forest Products Lab. Ipe and Massaranduba supplied by J. Gibson McIlvain are suitable for all outdoor products, not just decking. Ipe has been rated fire-resistant without any additional treatment. We also carry more traditional decking woods, including Philippine Mahogany.
